We’re here to support you! At L&L Animal Urgent Care, our focus is partnering with local general practices and emergency hospitals to help bridge the gap in same-day care.
If you’re unable to accommodate an ill or injured patient, our team is available to step in and provide timely urgent care.We prioritize continuity and collaboration, patients are always referred back to your hospital for follow-up, and medical records are sent at the time of discharge.
If you’re considering a transfer or have any questions, please call us at (425) 800-8818. To set up you rclients for success, have them give us a call prior to arriving at our facility so we can have them fill out the necessary paperwork and reserve a room for their arrival.
For a direct transfer of a current patient you are working with, one of our doctors is happy to get on telephone for a transfer call.
We perform the following in-house diagnostics:
(all results within 30 minutes unless otherwise specified)
- CBC and blood smear (we do not offer in-house PT/PTT)
- Chemistry/electrolytes (Chem12)
- i-STAT blood gas (iCa, Lactate, etc.)
- FeLV/FIV (tabletop test)
- fPL and cPL
- Leptospirosis Antibody (tabletop test)
- Screening T4
- Parvo SNAP (tabletop test)
- Giardia Antigen (tabletop test)
- Imagyst O&P Fecal (includes screening for Giardia, coccidia, etc.)
- Urinalysis, including dipstick and sediment
- Imagyst Digital Cytology with STAT pathologist review within 4 hours
- Ear and skin cytology
- Radiographs with STAT 1-hour radiologist review
- AFAST/TFAST screening
We work with Zoetis, Antech, and IDEXX reference labs for further comprehensive diagnostics.
We perform a variety of non-sterile surgeries and anesthetic or sedated procedures, including:

- Abscess repairs
- Bite wound and laceration repairs
- Jackson-Pratt drain placement
- Sedated Radiographs (not OFA)
- Enucleations
- Tail amputations
- Custom splint placement
- Thoracocentesis and abdominocentesis
- Arthrocentesis
- Urethral obstruction catheterization and management
- Endotracheal lavage for lower airway sampling (for stable patients)
- Punch biopsies, with option for dermatopathology reviewCBC and blood smear (we do not offer in-house PT/PTT)
We do not perform elective procedures (such as dentals or spay, neuter), nor do we offer sterileabdominal, thoracic, or orthopedic surgeries.
As we are not a 24/7 hospital, any patients requiring hospitalization or overnight monitoring will betransferred to a local emergency hospital for continued care.
